In Singapore, Daiso doesn’t definitely make me happy. You ought to go to the shop instead of it.

Daiso in Singapore is not reasonable for Japanese like me to buy some stuff. Because each item is sold for 1.5~2.0 times high price than its in Japan. For instance, although you can buy a pen for s$1 in Japan, you have to pay s$2.16 to get it in Singapore. As an aside, you can convert 100 yen to 1.01 SGD now(01/29/2023).

Then, I recommend someone who is willing to stay here for long term go to a reasonable shop. The name of the shop is “Valu$”.

The shop sells lots of items for cheaper price than other its. For example, a tooth paste is sold for s$1.75 at the shop in spite of selling for s$7~8 at other its. “Reasonable” make me happy every time & everywhere, your know ? I want you to go to the store if you suppose to cut off spending money for long term.

シンガポールのダイソーは僕のような日本人にとってはお買得ではありません。日本の価格と比べて1.5〜2,0倍の価格で販売されているからです。たとえば、日本の場合ペンは100円で買えるのに、シンガポールだと2.16シンガポールドルします。ちなみに、今日(2023年1月29日)現在100円は1.01シンガポールドル換算です。(※1年前は80円=１ SGDくらいだった(円安ふざけんな！)) そこで、シンガポールに長期滞在する方に向けておすすめのお店を紹介します。そのお店の名前は「Valu$」。

その店ではほとんどの商品が他の店よりも安く売られてます。例えば、他店で7 or 8 SGDする歯磨き粉は1.75シンガポールドル(まじかよ！)。お買得はいつでも、どこでも幸せにしてくれるよね！もし、長期間滞在中の節約考えているのであれば、ぜひこのお店に行ってほしいな。
