Coming up with my life after this term
As spending time in Singapore, I’m actually coming up with my life after this term because I intend to leave here in about two month. Probably, based on recent situation and my thinking, I could decide to live and work in Tokyo again. As long as I restart working in Tokyo, I have to look for new apartment there. I also buy some stuff which I need to live such as a bed, chair, table, because I released a lot stuffs before coming to Singapore. It must be more fun than the first time when I came to Tokyo to study eight years ago, because I’m getting to know which stuffs I need or not now. And, some electro devices and some services related to living are recently getting better than before, so the things I need couldn’t be as much as before probably. *That’s not because I’m a minimalist; having a few stuff.
I have to negotiate about my salary with my boss after coming back there as well if the situation doesn’t change. By all means, I’m willing to do that with the fact which I have improved my English skills. However I use not only it but also getting some certifications and my performance during this term. I will prepare for the negotiation.
この後の暮らしについて考えている
シンガポールで過ごしながら、あと2ヶ月ほどでここを離れた後の生活について考えているところです。おそらく、最近の状況や自分の考えから、また東京に住んで仕事をすることになるかもしれません。東京で仕事を再開する限り、新しいアパートを探さなければならないです。ベッドや椅子、テーブルなど、生活に必要なものも買わなければならないし、シンガポールに来る前にたくさんのものを手放したので。8年前に東京に来たときよりも、必要なものとそうでないものがわかってきた自分がいるので、きっとその作業は楽しいですね。それに、最近は電化製品や生活に関わるサービスも以前より良くなってきているので、必要なものは以前ほど多くはないのかもしれません。*ミニマリストだからというわけではありません。
今の状況が変わらないとすると、帰国後に上司と給料の交渉もしなければなりません。せっかく英語ができるようになったのだから、そのくらいはやってもいいと思っています。ただ、それだけでなく、資格取得や今期の成績も材料にしよと思っています。交渉に備えたいと思います。
