If you have known about me or read this diary since starting, you might know that I get in good with some elder people. Actually, people who I don’t know tend to talk to me in not only Tokyo but also other countries. In Orchard, I was asked the way to get a place by a stranger before, and also requested to pause with me in KUL. That means that I was not a taker, I was in the photo with the ladies! What a insane? Anyway, apparently, my friendliness which some elderly people think is able to across the world.
Today, after I left laundry space in little India, One elder asked me the way to get one building.
“Do you see the building behind the one?”
“Oh, That one. I see. Thank you gentleman”

While I was waiting for the signal, I put my headphone again as usual. Then, she talked to me again.
“Are you a student?”
“Yeah and you? Are you a foreigner?”

At first, I thought that It’s chit chat but we talked for 20 minutes at corner of one building.
She is a mother has a daughter. she said that when her daughter was 9 years young, She visit Osaka with her. according to her, all of stuff was expensive for her at that time.

If you come to Japan, you cloud paid S$5.1 for the cup of latte which you often pay S$7 to drink at Starbucks. And also, some hotels in Tokyo must be lees price than the hotel around us.
“Japan has a lot of stuff, and those are more reasonable than I though. I see. When I go there in this year, I will make sure of it.”

最初は雑談かと思ったが、ビルの一角で20分ほど話をした。娘さんが9歳の時、一緒に日本・大阪に行ったそうで、当時はいろいろとお金がかかったそうです。

最近は、外国人が泊まって食事をするのもリーズナブルになりましたね。シンガポール人であればなおさら。日本に来ると、スターバックスで7シンガポールドル払って飲むラテが、5.1シンガポールドルで済みます。また東京のホテルの中には、私たちの周りのホテルよりも安いです。
