It has taken a month since coming here.
On the 16th of last month, my first class was held in Singapore. In short, it has taken 1 month since coming here. I made a lot of friends other than classmates at an orientation. However, most of them had already left here because of a shorter term than 1 month so I need to start making friends from the first. There are a few students, in my class who will stay here for a long term, by the way. They are so kind, smart and call out me frankly. Their existence make me more diligent student because if I can increase my English skills, I can talk with them smoothly and quickly.
Speaking of my job, as expected, it ‘s so hard to work and study at the same time. I have to do tasks for about 3 hours a day before/after my class. And, I need to keep a journal like this and to watch some video in English. Furthermore, I started to sing a song in English while listening a music such as Taylor Swift, The Weeknd and Maroon 5. My tongue and muscle of mouth can’t reach the subtitle of each songs yet. But I’m feeling the effect of that, I will continue to do that.
For a month, I’ve gotten some methods about talking and writing as well. So, I will try to continue each of them for next month.
シンガポール滞在1ヶ月が経ちました
先月の16日、初授業でした。つまり、こちらに来てから1ヶ月が経過。オリエンテーションでクラスメイト以外の友達もたくさんできましたのですが、そのほとんどが1ヶ月という短期間のためすでに帰国してしまっているので、1人目から友達を作る必要があります。ちなみに、僕のクラスには長期で滞在する学生が何人かいます。彼らはとても優しく、賢く、率直に声をかけてくれます。彼らの存在があるからより真面目な学生生活を送れるようになりました。僕が英語力を伸ばせば、彼らとスムーズに会話できるようになると思えたので。
仕事はというと、勉強を両立させるのは大変です。授業の前後に3時間くらいタスクをこなしています。それにこうやって日記を書いたり、英語のビデオを見たりする必要もあります。さらに、Taylor SwiftやThe Weeknd、Maroon 5などの音楽を聴きながら、英語の歌を歌うようにしました。舌と口の筋肉がまだそれぞれの曲の字幕に追いつかないですが、効果を実感しているのでこれからも続けていこうと思います。
1ヶ月間、話すこと、書くことについていくつかのメソッドを得ることができました。来月も続けていこうと思います。
